Victoria Czechoslovakia Bird of Paradise, bone china teacup and saucer, c.1918-1939, antique
In good antique condition: no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. Cosmetic condition as pictured. There are a couple of flea-bite like issues on the rim of the saucers (pictured). Still usable and beautiful.
Please check photos (do not forget to zoom in!) and do not hesitate to ask questions if interested; the color may look slightly different due to photographic lighting sources or your monitor settings; this item is sold AS IS where imperfections may or may not be visible on the photo.
The factory was established in 1883 in Karlsbad (Karlovy Vary) by a London company Lazarus & Rosenfeld Ltd. In 1885 it was bought by Franz Schmidt and renamed Porzellanfabrik Victoria Schmidt & Co. In 1927 it was transformed into a stock company Porzellanfabrik Victoria AG.
I do reduce, reuse and recycle most of the packaging materials where possible in order to make zero to none human footprint to our climate and mother Earth; the teacups and other fragile items are first packed with new tissue paper.
