Absolutely fantastic teacup and saucer set by EB Foley, England in pastel yellow and gold colour featuring large pink and white roses in the centre of the both pieces.

The set is in great vintage condition: no chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing. Both pieces ping nicely. Cosmetic condition as pictured. Please check the pictures and do not hesitate to ask questions if interested.

E. BRAIN & Co. LTD was a manufacturer of porcelain at Foley Works, Fenton in 1903-63. Elijah Brain took over the Foley China Works from Robinson & Son in 1885 but continued to use the mark of "Robinson & Son" until 1903 when they used their own mark. The use of the name 'FOLEY' extensively used on many different marks to 1963, with and without the initials 'E. B. & Co,' or the name in full. E Brain & Co took over the business of Coalport China in 1958 and since 1963 production has continued under the Coalport name.
